On this, CM Siddaramaiah said that the law brought by the BJP government against cow slaughter lacks clarity. We will review the law in the next cabinet meeting.

The BJP accused the Karnataka government of not even implementing its 5 guarantee schemes so far.

The minister hinted at changing the anti-cow slaughter law
Karnataka Animal Husbandry Minister K. Venkatesh had indicated on June 4 that he would review the anti-cow slaughter law brought by the BJP government. Congress will discuss this law and then take a decision. He argued that when buffaloes and buffaloes can be slaughtered, why not cows?

BJP brought anti-cow slaughter law in 2021
The BJP government implemented the Karnataka Animal Slaughter Prevention and Preservation Act in 2021. Under this, the killing of animals was banned in the state. Only sick cattle and buffaloes above 13 years of age were allowed to be slaughtered. Congress has been opposing this law from the beginning.

CM accuses BJP of looting the state
Demonstrating with cows, the BJP said that the Congress is not even fulfilling its 5 election guarantees. On this, CM Siddaramaiah has said that BJP has no moral right to oppose the election promises of Congress. He said that BJP is an anti-people party.
