Because of this, his brother complained to the elders of the caste community. Where it was decided that he would have to undergo an ordeal to prove his innocence.

The video of this incident has also gone viral. In which it is seen that the victim first circumambulated the burning coal. Then picked up the hot iron rod lying in the coal and threw it. According to reports, the elders were not satisfied with this. He forced Gangadhar to accept his mistake. This led Gangadhar’s wife to file a police complaint against the elders of the community. At the same time, the police is investigating the matter.

Police told that this tradition is very old in that village.

The victim said that he is innocent, but the community did not agree
Police said that a few months ago, Jagannatham had complained to members of the caste community against Gangadhar and demanded justice. But Gangadhar denied the allegation. At that time the elders did not listen to him.

Tradition in the village – if the hand is not burnt then it will be proved innocent
After the issue was not resolved for three months, the elders ordered Gangadhar to undergo an ordeal. In which it was said that if he does not burn then it will be proved that he is innocent.

Actually, there is a tradition in that village. Where people believe that if a person is pious and speaking the truth, he will not be burnt by a hot iron. Although Gangadhar’s hands did not burn during this, yet he was not proved innocent.

The complainant said – Brother’s affair with my wife
Complainant Jagannatham claimed that Gangadhar’s hands were burnt during the ordeal. Gangadhar is my cousin and he had an affair with my wife. According to the tradition of our caste he had touched the iron rod and his hand got burnt but he is not accepting it. We are asking him to pay the penalty as he has accepted in writing about the affair. But now they are troubling us by complaining in the police station.
