A reward of Rs 14 lakh each was declared on both the killed women Naxalites.
A police-naxalite encounter took place in the Naxal-affected Balaghat area of Madhya Pradesh at 3 am on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday. In this, the police killed two prominent women Naxalites who were the area commander and guard of Dalam. A reward of Rs 14-14 lakh was declared on both. Last year also the police had killed 6 Naxalites. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has encouraged the soldiers involved in the encounter.
According to information received from Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh, an encounter took place between Hawkforce and Naxalites in Kadla forest in Garhi police station area at 3 am. In which the jawans killed two female Naxalites Sunita and Sarita in an encounter.
CM said – our police is brave and alert
Reacting to the encounter in Bhopal, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, ‘I want to congratulate the police force, task force, Balaghat police. Last night two Naxalites were killed in the encounter. A reward of Rs 14-14 lakh was declared on them. Material along with weapons has been recovered. I congratulate the soldiers. This was the fourth encounter in a year and a quarter. Meanwhile, eight Naxalites were killed, on whom there was a reward of 8 crores. There is bravery and alertness of our police, due to which Naxalites are being eliminated continuously. Our resolve is for the rule of law and the rule of law. Dacoits will not be allowed to flourish. Naxalites will not be able to spread. After SIMI, organizations like PFI are being wiped out. The goons and miscreants who disturb peace will not be spared.

Both women Naxalites were active in Dalam
Sunita was the Area Commander in Bhoram Dev. She was currently working in Vistaar Dalam. Whereas Sarita Naxalite had been the guard of Kabir. Along with that she was also staying in Khatiya Mocha Dalam. At present, she was active in Vistaar Dalam. The bodies of both were also recovered.

Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh said that guns, cartridges, a large quantity of Naxalite literature and eatables were recovered from the dead Maoists. A reward of Rs 14 lakh each was announced on both the women Naxalites. After the incident, the Balaghat police launched a search operation in the forest.
Maoist Sunita killed in encounter. She had been the Area Commander in Bhoram Deo and was currently working in Vistar Dalam.
Big officials reached the spot to encourage
Balaghat Zone Inspector General of Police Sanjay Kumar, Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh, Hawkforce CO reached the spot after receiving the news of the killing of two senior women Naxalites in the Naxalite encounter.
Apart from guns and cartridges, a large quantity of Naxalite literature and eatables have been recovered from the dead Naxalites.
