CBI and ED are probing the famous teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal. Meanwhile, some burnt documents have been found in Bhangar area of ​​24 Parganas district. Investigating agencies suspect that some unknown people have tried to destroy evidence related to the scam. CBI has collected samples of burnt documents and sent them for investigation.

CBI officials told that, we had received information from our sources. Some half-burnt papers have been recovered from the spot. It is not yet known to whom the documents are related. Its verification is yet to happen.

A senior CBI official claims that these papers could be related to mining businesses in several areas of the neighboring district of Bihar. The owner of the land where the documents were found was also questioned.
A CBI source said Umesh Kumar, a senior officer handling the coal smuggling cases, is examining the half-burnt papers recovered. “We are also ascertaining who is behind this and how these documents were brought here,” he added.
