1. Death of worker in bombing : TMC and ISF workers came face to face on Tuesday. Bombs were thrown from both sides. In which a minor TeamAC worker died.

2. Murder of TMC worker: On July 3, 52-year-old TMC worker Jiyarul Mollah was shot dead in Phulmalancha area. He was the father of Manwara, the TMC candidate in the Kathalberia gram panchayat. Daughter Manwara said – We were continuously receiving threats from the opposition parties. Had complained about this to the police.

2. BJP leader’s body found: On July 3, the police found the body of a BJP leader named Bankim Hansda from Bodo area of ​​Purulia district.

3. Congress worker shot: Congress worker Arif Sheikh was shot at by unidentified persons on July 2 at Samserganj in Murshidabad district. He was seriously injured.

4. Explosion during crude bomb making: The explosion occurred during the making of crude bombs on the night of July 2 in Haroa area of ​​North 24 Parganas district. Police said that one person has died and one is seriously injured.

822 companies of Central Forces deployed in the state for Panchayat elections
822 companies of Central Forces have been deployed before the voting for Panchayat elections in the state. The State Election Commission had written a letter to the Union Home Ministry demanding these companies. On June 21, the Calcutta High Court ordered the State Election Commission to deploy 82,000 central force personnel in the state within 24 hours. Due to increasing violence, the High Court had given this order.
