An Air India flight coming from America to Delhi had to make an emergency landing in Stockholm, Sweden on Wednesday due to a technical glitch. There were 300 passengers on board the plane. Everyone is safe.
According to DGCA, Air India’s Boeing 777-300ER flight had flown from Newark, US to Delhi. Then fuel leaked from the drain mast from Engine-2 of the aircraft. Due to this one engine had to be shut down. After which the aircraft was safely landed at Stockholm airport.

On the other hand, the delay in Delhi-Mumbai Air India flight on Tuesday night led to a heated argument between the passengers and the airline staff. According to the news agency, the flight was delayed by more than five hours at the Delhi airport.
Flight took off from Terminal-3 after five hours
A passenger told that he had to go to Mumbai by Air India flight number AI-805. The takeoff of the flight was scheduled at 8:00 pm but was rescheduled to 10:40 pm. After that it was rescheduled at 11.35 pm and again at 12.30 pm. According to the passengers, five hours later, at around 1:48 am, the flight took off from Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport.
Passenger’s allegation – kept misleading by making up a story
An Air India passenger said that the supervisors and crew members kept making up stories about the flight being delayed. They were misleading all the passengers. According to the passenger, the reason given by a staff for the delay was that the pilot was ill, due to which the flight was delayed. However, an airstaff official said that the flight was delayed due to technical reasons.
Air India flight coming from New York to Delhi diverted to London due to medical emergency
Earlier on last Monday, the Air India flight coming from New York to Delhi was diverted to London. According to the official, the flight had taken off from John F Kennedy Airport, but a passenger had a medical emergency, due to which the flight had to be diverted to Heathrow Airport in London. There were more than 350 passengers on board the aircraft. Air India flight takes about 14 hours to cover the distance from New York to Delhi.
