A massive fire broke out at a thread factory in Nangal Khedi along with NFL in Haryana’s Panipat city. People informed the factory owner about the fire. The factory owner reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Also the fire brigade was informed.
Apart from this, Sector 29 police station was also called on the spot. After getting the information, teams of fire brigade and police reached the spot.
The fire brigade is trying to control the fire which started at 7 am. However, due to the polyester thread, the fire is continuously increasing. The fire brigade personnel have to struggle hard to extinguish the fire. Finally, after about 6 hours of effort, the fire was brought under control.

Polyester material thread factory is running here since last many years. Whose owner is Sanjeev Gupta. A sudden fire broke out in the factory in the morning under suspicious circumstances. At the same time, only 3 vehicles have reached the spot of fire brigade. After a car runs out of water, it is taken to refill, till then the fire flares up. Vehicles have also been called from Samalkha and Matlauda.
Nearby houses were evacuated
Seeing the fire increasing slowly, as a precaution, the surrounding houses have been evacuated. Because there are residential houses on three sides of this factory, while NFL is on one side. The surrounding houses are currently safe due to the fire but they have been filled with smoke. Because of which people have been removed as a precautionary measure. The fire brigade is trying hard to extinguish the fire.
