Eight months ago, Awadhesh married Neelam Gupta, a resident of Dhanaghata Majhgawa, Sant Kabir Nagar. This was also Neelam’s second marriage. She also has a daughter Pihu from her first husband. On Saturday night, Neelam called Dial 112 and informed that two masked men had come and were assaulting my husband and children. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. On opening the room, Awadhesh and his two sons Aryan and Aaro were lying on the blood-soaked bed in agony. The police immediately took him to the district hospital for treatment, where Awadhesh was declared brought dead by the doctors. At the same time, the injured children died during treatment at the Medical College.
It is believed that the woman slit the throats of her husband and children while they were asleep. If the husband had been awake, this murder would not have happened at all. The weapon was also the common knife used in the kitchen of the house.
