The scam of 11 crores in Bala Ji Dham located in Mehdipur, Rajasthan is being linked to Punjab. While probing the case, today CBI raided village Jaito in Faridkot. The team raided the houses of 5 suspected accused in the case for 5 hours and seized the records. Took bank details as well.

Got coins counted by giving tender
Advocate Jaswant Singh Jas said that coins worth about Rs 13 crore were deposited by Balaji Trust in Mehdipur in the SBI branch there. When the new manager of the bank took charge 5 years ago, he saw less coins, after which a tender was given to a private company to get the coins counted.

Bank gave complaint letter to CBI
After counting the coins, the company found that instead of coins worth Rs 13 crore, there were only Rs 1 crore 65 lakh coins. Based on the said report, the bank went to the court for investigation with the help of the police, after which the case was handed over to the CBI by the Jaipur High Court bench.

Transaction done in the accounts of 5 people
According to the sources, the CBI suspects that at that time this money of the scam was invested in IPL and share market, whose transactions took place in the bank accounts of 5 people of Jaito town of Faridkot district during that period. In the course of this investigation, the CBI team reached Faridkot last evening, although no information has been shared by the CBI team with the media in this matter.
