The last rites of Satish Kaushik took place at the cremation ground in Versova.
Actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away on Wednesday night at 1:30 am in Delhi. He was 66 years old. He had gone to participate in the Holi program in Delhi. Its video has also surfaced. In view of the sudden death, the postmortem of his dead body was done at Deendayal Hospital in Delhi. The postmortem report stated the cause of death as cardiac arrest.
Sometime back his body was brought to his home in Mumbai. From where his last journey was taken out. He has been cremated at Versova’s cremation ground.
Anupam Kher was seen crying sitting near the dead body of Satish Kaushik.
Satish Kaushik’s nephew Nishant Kaushik told Dainik Bhaskar that he died of a heart attack. His health deteriorated in the night after attending a family function in Delhi. The family took him to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
Bollywood celebs reached his house to join his last journey. Many celebs including Javed Akhtar, Anupam Kher, Raj Babbar, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ila Arun joined the last journey of Satish Kaushik.

- According to Satish Kaushik’s manager Santosh Rai, he went to sleep on Wednesday night at 10.30. At 12.10 he called me that he was having trouble breathing. I was the one who took him to the hospital.
- Delhi Police is also investigating in this matter. According to media reports, the police say that the news of Satish’s death was received from the hospital. Who was with him when he reached the hospital due to ill health, what happened to him? It is being verified. These people will be questioned.

On March 7, Satish Kaushik attended the Holi party organized by Javed Akhtar at Janki Kutir Juhu. He had tweeted photos of this celebration, in which he looked fit. Satish was born in Haryana, did his schooling from Delhi
Satish Kaushik was born on 13 April 1956 in Mahendragarh, Haryana. Schooling was done in Delhi. After graduation from Kirori Mal College, he took admission in National School of Drama (NSD). In 1985, she married Shashi Kaushik. His son died at the age of 2.
Got recognition from Mr. India
Satish made his Bollywood debut in 1983. Before that he worked in theatre. He was an actor, comedian, scriptwriter, director and producer. Satish got recognition from the film Mr. India in 1987. He then played the role of Pappu Pager in Deewana-Mastana in 1997. Satish received the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian in 1990 for Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale Sasural.
