The Rajasthan Police has registered a case against 30 alleged cow vigilantes in the charge sheet filed in this case. In this, the role of 8 accused including alleged cow protector Monu Manesar is being considered suspicious. Along with this, the Rajasthan Police has also announced a reward of 10-10 thousand rupees.

In this case, many convicts including Monu Manesar of Haryana had fled to Nepal to avoid arrest by the police. He has returned three months after the massacre in February. Rajasthan as well as Haryana police get intelligence inputs that all the prime accused in the case are back. He has even contacted his family members.

Police sources have revealed that the social media activity of the accused shows where some took shelter in UP. Have even visited their homes. Others have returned to their villages in Haryana. They are being protected by the Panchayats. A Hindu mahapanchayat held in Manesar asked the Rajasthan police not to enter the village and declared Monu innocent.

When did Nasir-Junaid’s murder happen?
A complaint was lodged at the Gopalgarh police station on February 15, stating that two persons, Junaid and Nasir, had been abducted. The police had registered a case on this complaint. The next day, on February 16, both the burnt car of the missing and two skeletons in the car were found in Bhiwani district of Haryana. In the investigation that followed, it became clear that both the burnt bodies belonged to Nasir-Junaid.

There were 4 big revelations in the interrogation

1. Blockade was done to catch cow smugglers: Bharatpur range IG Gaurav Srivastava said that his entire gang including Monu Rana and Gogi block people on suspicion of cow smuggling. Something similar happened on the night of 14 February. Three teams of these accused were there. Two teams had come to Bharatpur and one team from Nuh Mewat area was associated with them.

2. Kidnapped Nasir-Junaid and thrashed them half dead: These people kidnapped Nasir and Junaid and took them to Firozpur Jhirka (Haryana). Here, they were taken around in the whole area by sitting in the car. Then thrashed them with sticks and rods. The accused made both of them half-dead by beating them. The accused had taken both of them to the Haryana Police in a half-dead condition.

3. Plan of murder if police does not arrest: Seeing the condition of Nasir and Junaid, the Haryana Police refused to arrest them. When these accused came to know that the Haryana Police would not arrest them, they started fearing that if they left the two youths like this, they would be in trouble. After this, the accused made a plan to kill both of them.

4. Took to Bhiwani, strangled one, beat the other: The accused took Nasir and Junaid to Bhiwani. Here Nasir was strangled to death. Junaid was also beaten up again. Both had died by the time they came out of Bhiwani. After this, to destroy the evidence, the bodies of both were kept in a Bolero in Loharu, Bhiwani and set on fire by sprinkling petrol.
