Shah Rukh congratulated PM Modi and the countrymen for the new Parliament building. However, the leaders of the opposition in Maharashtra have not liked Shahrukh’s doing so.

On 28 May, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament House building. Many people from the film industry also reacted on this occasion. The most discussed in this was the reaction of Shahrukh Khan. Shah Rukh congratulated PM Modi and the countrymen for the new Parliament building. However, now some people have not liked Shahrukh’s doing this.

NCP leader Clyde Crasto has taunted Shahrukh by tweeting. He has said that Shah Rukh has spoken in support of the new Parliament House, so there will be no demand to ban his films now.

NCP’s national spokesperson Clyde Crasto wrote, ‘Now that Shahrukh has given his support to the new Parliament building, we will soon see Maharashtra BJP leaders kneeling before him. Now there will be no demand to ban his films.

‘Make movies on sports, but don’t say a word on wrestlers’
Clyde Crasto didn’t stop there. Along with Shah Rukh, he also targeted Akshay Kumar. He wrote that both these actors expressed their views about the Parliament building but did not say a word about the protest of the wrestlers.

He wrote, ‘Both these actors have worked in films based on sports, and have earned a lot of money and fame from it. What is the compulsion that they are hesitating to extend their support to the wrestlers fighting for justice. What is he afraid of?

It is obvious that the boycott trend has been seen a lot in the last few times. Even films of stars like Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar have not remained untouched by this. From social media to the ground, there was a lot of ruckus against Shahrukh’s Pathan and Akshay’s film Raksha Bandhan.

What did Shahrukh say about the new Parliament House?
PM Modi shared a video of the new Parliament House on 26 May. While sharing, he had appealed to the people to give their voice to this video. Accepting the PM’s appeal, Shah Rukh gave his voice to it.

He said- This new house should be so big that houses can be built for people from every corner of the country. May the arms of this house be so wide that it can love every caste and every religion of the country. Its vision should be so deep that it can see every single citizen of the country.

PM Modi also expressed his gratitude to Shahrukh through a tweet for giving his opinion about the new Parliament.

Apart from this, Shahrukh also made a tweet. What a wonderful home it is for those who uphold our Constitution, represent our people and protect the diversity of our country. It may be a new Parliament House of a new India, but it reflects the centuries-old glorious history of India.

Why was there a need to build a new building?
The old Parliament House was built 96 years ago in 1927. In March 2020, the government told Parliament that the old building was overutilized and was deteriorating.

Along with this, there is not enough space in the old building to accommodate the MPs who will increase after the new delimitation of Lok Sabha seats. For this reason the new building was built. There will be so much space in the Lok Sabha that during the joint session of both the Houses, more than 1272 MPs will be able to sit together in the Lok Sabha itself. ,
