Spice Jet Company has started another flight from the country’s capital to Kangra. This flight has been run in view of the tourist season. Spice Jet will now have five regular flights a day at Gaggal Airport in Kangra.
Similarly, two flights of Indigo and one flight of Alliance Air are also taking place regularly. There are only three to four flights to Gaggal Airport during the off-tourist season. Their number has increased to eight in the season.
After the commencement of additional flights in Kangra, there is a wave of happiness among the tourism businessmen. Due to this, tourists are easily reaching various tourist places of Kangra.
There are regular flights from Gaggal Airport to Delhi as well as Chandigarh. There is also a flight from Gagal Airport to Chandigarh, Alliance Air aircraft also fly to Shimla three days a week.
Heli Taxi three flights a week
Heli Taxi also operates on the Dharamshala-Mandi-Shimla-Chandigarh route thrice a week. After more flights from Delhi to Gaggal airport in the tourist season, the air fares have also come down significantly. According to the tariff of June 5, the fare from Delhi to Dharamshala starts from Rs.4700 to Rs.8000.
