A 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area. The video of the incident that took place on Sunday evening has been captured in CCTV. According to the police, the accused Sahil stopped Sakshi on the way and inflicted several stab wounds on her. After this attacked with stones.
Police say that both were in a relationship, but on Saturday both had a fight over some issue. The number of times Sahil stabbed Sakshi will be known after the postmortem.
Many people passed through the road, some even tried to stop
Police told- a person informed about the murder of the girl. The police team found Sakshi’s body on the road. She was a resident of JJ Colony. When she was going to the birthday party on Sunday evening, suddenly Sahil stopped her and attacked her. Stabbed several times with a knife. After this, the witness was pelted with stones 6 times. Kept kicking continuously.
Sahil absconded after the murder. During the incident, some people also tried to stop Sahil. The murder took place when Sakshi was on her way to the birthday party of her friend’s son. Police is looking for Sahil.
Police bid will arrest soon
Delhi Deputy Police Commissioner Suman Nalwa said – A murder case had come to light near Shahbad Dairy. A team has been formed and investigation is underway. The accused has been identified. We will arrest him soon.
On the other hand, Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of the Delhi Women’s Commission, said – The spirits of the poor in Delhi are high. Issuing notice to the police. All limits have been crossed. I have never seen anything more terrible than this in my career of so many years.
