He said these things in relation to some former leaders joining the Congress.

It has been alleged by MP Uttam Kumar that more than 50% of the PCC leaders are those who were recently associated with former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s party TDP. Due to this, the leaders who have been working for the party for the last six years are disappointed. The leaders who resigned said that with this decision of the party, those leaders who were working for the Congress for the last about 6 years have been disappointed. The leaders who have resigned include Congress MLA D. Anasuya (Sithakka) and former MLA V. Narendra Reddy.

These leaders also targeted Telangana Chief Minister KCR. They say that KCR is running a dictatorial regime in the state. Strong struggle is needed to oust them from power. The MP alleged that he has submitted his resignation to AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge. Also, all the dissident members have informed about their resignation to AICC Secretary and in-charge of Telangana, Manickam Tagore.
