Three people were killed when a pickup overturned in Seraikela Kharsawan district of Jharkhand on Thursday. At the same time, many others have been injured. The incident is said to have happened around 6.30 am. Construction related goods were also kept in the pickup van carrying 20 people. Due to this burden, the driver lost control of the vehicle on the way and the vehicle met with an accident.

Police say that the pickup was going from Chaibasa in West Singhbhum to Rajnagar in Seraikela-Kharsawan. This accident happened near Khairbani village of Rajnagar. Three people died on the spot in the incident. At the same time, 10-15 people were badly injured. The injured were taken to the Community Health Center in Rajnagar. Out of these seriously injured people were admitted to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur.
