In Jharkhand, there was a dispute on Wednesday due to the toran gate installed for Mahashivratri in Panki market of Palamu. There was heavy stone-pelting on both sides. Stones were thrown from the mosque, following which the other side pelted stones at the mosque. Many shops were ransacked. There are reports of injuries to some policemen in the stone pelting.
Section 144 has been imposed in Panki and internet service has been stopped. Jharkhand government’s home department ordered telecom companies to keep internet service closed till 4 pm on February 16.

At this time the matter has been put to rest. Police is taking action.
