Opponents have started besieging the Punjab government after the interview of gangster Lawrence, the main accused in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case. He has raised questions on the jails of Punjab and the law and order situation in the state.
Opposition parties have said that the AAP has facilitated the gangster’s interview to divert attention from his complicity. SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal even said that the gangster has exposed the nexus of Lawrence, Punjab Congress President Raja Warding and Bhagwant Mann from the state jail.
Badal raised the question that who is safe here and who is corrupt? To what extent the law and order situation in Punjab has deteriorated. Bhagwant Mann has no moral right to continue as CM. He has demanded his resignation as the jail minister.

Also said that Lawrence is taken on remand for questioning by different investigative agencies. He claimed that the video of Lawrence that went public was not from Bathinda or any other jail in Punjab. Describing the video as old, it must have been made by someone earlier.
