In Mungavali village of Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, a girl lost her battle for life after falling into a 300-feet deep borewell. 3-year-old Srishti was taken out of the borewell after about 52 hours. The rescue team pulled him out of the robotic technique. The girl was not responding. He was directly taken in an ambulance to the district hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. After this the body was taken for postmortem. The girl was trapped at a depth of 150 feet. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former CM Kamal Nath have expressed grief over the death of the girl child.

Mahesh Ahir, in-charge of the robot team, said that when the girl was pulled out, she was unconscious. She was not responding in any way. We have done complete rescue with the help of army, NDRF with the data of robot. As soon as the girl came out, the doctor took the girl and took her in an ambulance and left for the hospital.

This 3-year-old girl named Srishti had fallen into a bore made in the field while playing around one o’clock on Tuesday afternoon. At that time she was stuck at 29 feet depth. But she kept sliding down due to the vibration of the excavation during the rescue. SDRF, NDRF and Army were engaged in rescue on the spot. Delhi’s robotic team also reached the spot at 9 am on Thursday and started the operation. Rescue was also affected due to strong wind and rain in the afternoon. The robotic team took out the girl at around 5.30 pm.

Mahesh Arya, in-charge of the robotic team, told that the robot was put in the borewell, the first data obtained from it was scanned. From this it was known that what is the condition of the girl child and how to rescue her. An officer associated with the rescue operation told that the girl was in water 150 feet deep. District Panchayat CEO Ashish Tiwari told that the team of 3 members reached Sehore by road after driving overnight from Delhi. A few days ago this team had conducted a rescue operation in Jamnagar in a similar case, in which they got success.

FIR has been registered under section 181 and 308 IPS. After the PM report, advance action will be taken by increasing section 304.

Mother said – Calling me went to borewell

The girl’s mother told on Wednesday morning that Srishti went into the borewell while playing. When I saw her, I went running, till then she went into the borewell. My daughter fell down in a bore calling me before my eyes. She was crying. I called my mother-in-law first. That bore belongs to the neighbor. I have two daughters. The world is the biggest.

The girl’s grandmother Kalavati Bai told- Srishti went out of the house to play. I was there then. There is another’s farm near the house. A cart was placed on the borewell in it. While playing, Srishti sat in it and fell inside. I screamed and went to hold her. Hearing the screams, my son and the villagers came there.
