Why did the RBI announce the closure of 2000 notes, now bloody conflicts are taking place. In Jalandhar’s Gulmohar Colony, a scrap dealer and a factory owner clashed over giving Rs 2,000 notes as payment. Till yesterday, the matter had reached a scuffle between the two and the matter had calmed down, but today again the factory owner attacked the junk with sharp weapons.

Kabadi Ram Sanjeevan, his wife and one of his companions were injured in the attack. Whereas, Kabadi Ram Sanjeevan apprehended one of the attackers, who has been identified as Jaspreet Singh r/o Bhagat Singh Colony. He is also injured in this fighting game. All the injured have been admitted to Civil Hospital by Police Station Division No.8.

Factory owner was demanding payment in 500 notes
Scrap dealer Ram Sanjeevan told that he had bought 7.5 quintals of scrap from a factory in street number 4 of Gulmohar City. He told the factory owner that 30 thousand payment has been made for it. When he made the payment in 2000 notes, the factory owner was adamant that he wanted the payment in 500 notes. The scrap dealer said that he would give the payment in Rs 2,000 notes only. He does not have 500 notes. There was an argument between both of them.

Factory owner arrived with 10-15 goons
2 thousand pink notes got both of them fighting. Somehow the matter was settled yesterday after some people got in between. The scrap dealer returned to his business, but the factory owner was angry with the factory owner for the fight. Ram Sanjeevan told that the factory owner brought his 10 to 15 goons with sharp weapons today.

Factory owner and hired goons attacked him and his family with sharp weapons. The police have registered a case on the statement of Kabadi Ram Sanjeevan.
