Bhadradi Kottagudem police arrested 10 Naxalites on Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Out of these 5 Maoists are residents of Bijapur district. A tractor cordex wire and about 500 detonators have been recovered from them.
A huge amount of explosives was being taken to the big Naxalite leaders. There was preparation for the biggest Naxalite attack in Chhattisgarh or Telangana. However, the police have foiled their nefarious plans.

Telangana Police had received information from an informer that members of the Naxalite organization were present in a hideout in Mulakanapalli and Dumugudem mandals with a huge amount of explosives. Based on this, the Bhadradi Kottagudem police formed a team comprising Dumugudem and CRPF’s 141st Battalion jawans and dispatched to the spot. 10 suspects were caught by conducting a search operation in the villages of the area and the forest adjacent to it. From whom a tractor, a Bolero vehicle and two bikes were also recovered.

During the search of the recovered vehicles, 10 Maoists were arrested along with about 90 bundles of cordex wire, 500 detonators and other explosives from a tractor. During interrogation, it was found that 5 of them are residents of Awapalli area of Bijapur district of Telangana and 5 of Chhattisgarh. For the last several years, he was working for the Naxalite organization.
According to the police, there have been many revelations in the interrogation. The value of gunpowder recovered from them is in lakhs. However, it has not been disclosed from where these explosives were coming. Officers said that soon this supply chain will also be broken.
