Fire was raging in 2 huts. Many people were standing there, but no one was able to do anything. Parasram told that he immediately called the fire brigade. In some time, the fire personnel came and extinguished the fire, then it was found that the four children sleeping in the hut had been burnt to wood and the smoke and smell rising from the smoldering was making the atmosphere even more crippling.

Ramdei and Ramesh Das from Darbhanga in Bihar came to Himachal Pradesh with the hope of earning a livelihood and a better future for their 3 children. Tehsildar Amb Prem Diman, Kanungo Subhash Chand, Naresh Kumar and Patwari Navdeep Singh reached the spot after the accident. Here he gave 40 thousand rupees as immediate help to the families who had lost all four children. In this fire, along with the children, all the things kept in the hut were also burnt to ashes. Their beds, clothes, ration and everything else turned into ashes.

As soon as the information about the fire was received, Fireman Lucky Kumar, Home Guard Shamin Kumar, Driver Tarsem Lal from Fire Station Amb reached the spot with the fire brigade and saved the fire from spreading.
