On Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party workers gathered at the protest site in Sector 5 in Panchkula, Haryana demanding the dismissal of Haryana minister Sandeep Singh. Protesting under the chairmanship of Anurag Dhanda, the workers left for the Chandigarh Governor’s House. The police stopped them at the Chandigarh border itself. Here the workers created ruckus and had a scuffle with the police. Many have got injured in this.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers on their way from Panchkula to Haryana Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh were stopped by police at Chandigarh-Panchkula border by double barricading. The activists tried to enter Chandigarh, but were stopped by the Panchkula police. During this there was a scuffle between the police and the protesters. Many people also got minor injuries.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Anurag said that the Khattar government is not ready to listen anything in the matter of women’s safety and has pushed Haryana backward in the matter of women. He said that crime against women has increased by 27% in Haryana and the person who molested Haryana’s female player has been made the President of Haryana Olympic Association.

He said that our demand is that Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh should be sacked. He said that today there is no one in Haryana in the name of opposition, Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Hooda and Deepender Hooda have kept silence. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party has been protesting since day one to get justice for the women sportsperson.
