This will be the 19th Vande Bharat Express of the country running between Mumbai and Goa. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared its video on Friday.

The launch of Goa’s first Vande Bharat Express scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled. PM Modi was about to show the green flag virtually. This decision has been taken after the Odisha train accident.

In this event, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was also going to come to Madgaon station. But they have canceled all the programmes. Railway Minister reached the place of train accident in Odisha on Saturday morning.

Where is Vande Bharat Express running in the country?

Vande Bharat Express will have eight coaches
At present, 16-coach Vande Bharat trains in Maharashtra are running on CSMT Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi, CSMT-Solapur and Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad routes. Another train is running between Nagpur and Bilaspur. Vande Bharat is expected to run regularly on the Goa route from next week. According to the Railways, this train will run for the remaining 6 days of the week except Friday.

Vande Bharat will halt at 7 stations
7 stoppages of Vande Bharat train have been given on the Goa-Mumbai route. It will have halts at CSMT, Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Thivim and Madgaon stations. Earlier on May 16, during a trial run between CSMT and Madgaon, the train covered the distance in about seven hours.

The official announcement of the tickets has not been made yet, but it is expected that the price of a ticket will be around 1400 rupees. There may be a change in the ticket price depending on the different class of the train.

Vande Bharat increased the convenience of railway passengers
India has the fourth longest rail network in the world. Here more than 11 thousand trains run everyday on 1.25 lakh kilometer long railway track. About 3 crore people travel everyday through these trains. Due to being so big and connected to the people, a separate budget was presented for the Railways in India. In 2016, the Modi government stopped this 92-year-old practice.
