13 February 2022. The girl was going to the shop to buy sugar for home. The shop was about 300 meters away from the house. But the girl did not return home for an hour as 5 boys forcibly picked her up from the way and took her to the cemetery. Gangraped and ran away leaving her suffering there.

It has been more than an hour that she did not return home. The search began. Mother and father ran here and there and started searching. Sounded around the cemetery too but there was no response. Because she fainted from unbearable pain. He regained consciousness after two hours. His clothes were stained with blood. Somehow she reached home staggering. Everyone asked questions again and again. She could not speak anything.

The girl did not remain silent this time. Sometimes he would vomit, sometimes he would feel dizzy. Mother took him to the doctor. The child was examined again. When the reports came, the ground slipped under the mother’s feet. A one and a half month old little life was growing in the baby’s womb.

21 September 2022. Around 12 noon, screams echoed in the hospital ward. The child became a mother. She gave birth to a boy. Hearing this, the child’s mother was crying. 3 accused arrested but 2 were roaming free
After the FIR of the case, the girl told the names of the 5 accused. Police registered an FIR against 3 and arrested them. But the other two who were outside would often give death threats to the girl’s family. Time passed, slowly the family started trying to forget everything.

The family had fear of the society and the accused due to which now they did not send the girl out alone. Her school bag was hanging on a peg on the right side of the girl’s one-room house. April 2023. The girl’s family was living their lives in fear. Then one day two of the three accused who were lodged in the jail came out on bail. He reached the victim’s house the very next day after coming out. Made pressure to reconcile with the victim’s family. When he did not agree, the accused beat up the victim’s father. After this, the accused went back threatening to withdraw the case. Father got hurt a lot. His condition was bad, so he was admitted to the hospital.

17 April 2023. It was evening time. The girl’s father was hospitalized. The girl, her child, her mother and siblings were in the house. The girl’s mother was doing household chores when both the accused again reached her house. This time the victim’s grandfather and uncle were also with the accused. For some time he asked the girl’s mother to withdraw the case. She didn’t agree.

The girl’s mother told that after this both the accused started beating the girl and her with sticks. Before she could do anything to save herself, the thatch on top of the house was set on fire. By setting fire, they picked up the child of the gangrape victim and threw it in the fire. Along with this, the younger sister of the victim also got burnt in that fire.

After this the accused fled. There was an uproar. When seen, both the children were badly burnt in the fire. After this, the victim’s 7-month-old child and 2-month-old sister were immediately taken to Unnao District Hospital. From there he was referred to Hallet Hospital in Kanpur, then to KGMU in Lucknow.

At present, both the children have suffered about 45% burns. Admitted in ICU. Doctors say that the condition of both the children is very serious. The victim’s father said that the doctors tell that now it is very difficult to save the children.

All the evidence related to the rape was burnt to ashes.

The victim’s father told that after the accident we have not gone back home but people told that everything is burnt. All the evidence related to the rape, the ultrasound report of the daughter, our phone which had the recordings in it have all been burnt to ashes.
