A case of couple’s romance on a moving bike has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. The girl was seen sitting on the lap of her boyfriend on a speeding bike on the National Highway-9 of Ghaziabad. The young man was riding the bike, while the girl was sitting in front facing him. During this, she kept hugging the young man.
In this case, the Ghaziabad police has issued a challan of Rs 21,000 to the youth driving the bike. Actually, a person named Akash Kumar had shared the video of the incident on Twitter. The tweet also tagged the Twitter handles of Ghaziabad Police and Uttar Pradesh Police. In response to this tweet, the police told about the action.
Invoice cut for 4 reasons including not wearing helmet
Police fined Rs 1,000 for not wearing helmet, Rs 5,000 for wrong number plate, Rs 10,000 for flouting air pollution standards and Rs 5,000 for speeding.
The police also shared the challan document on Twitter.
The person who recorded the video of the incident appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to stop such incidents. The person said that some people do such things to go viral. By doing so, they put their own lives and the lives of others at risk.
Ghaziabad DCP had given instructions to take action
The Ghaziabad DCP had directed the Indirapuram Inspector to investigate the video and take necessary action. After which the Ghaziabad police issued a challan to Gollamudi Solomon Sindhoor, who was driving the bike.
