गणतंत्र दिवस परेड में शामिल होंगे सिर्फ स्वदेशी हथियार: 105mm इंडियन फील्ड गन से दी जाएगी 21 तोपों की सलामी, ब्रह्मोस-आकाश मिसाइलें होंगी प्रदर्शित

For the Republic Day parade, the army will display indigenous equipments under Atma Nirbhar Bharat.

Only Made in India i.e. indigenous weapons will be displayed in this Republic Day parade. Even the ammunition will be indigenous. A 21 gun salute will be given from the 105 mm Indian field gun made in India. Newly recruited Agniveers will also be a part of the parade. At the same time, women soldiers will participate as part of the BSF’s Camel Contingent and the leader of 144 soldiers of the Navy’s contingent will also be women.

Many indigenous equipments will be displayed
Delhi Area Chief of Staff Major General Bhavish Kumar told that under ‘Self-reliant India’, the army will demonstrate many indigenous equipments. The parade will include K-9 Vajra Howitzers, MBT Arjun, Nag Anti-Tank Guided Missile, BrahMos Supersonic Cruise Missile, Akash Air Defense Missile and Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicles.

He informed that indigenously made Light Combat Helicopter Prachanda will also be a part of the flypast of the Air Force. At the same time, Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv and Advanced Light Helicopter Rudra will also be part of the display. One light combat helicopter will lead the Prachanda formation, while two Apache helicopters and two Advanced Light Helicopter MK-IV aircraft will follow in Teer formation.

Under ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, the army will showcase Anti-Tank Guided Missile, BrahMos Supersonic Cruise Missile and Akash Air Defense Missile.

A 10-metre short span bridge and a mobile microwave node of the Signal Corps will also be displayed at the Republic Day parade.

For the first time, a woman officer will lead a team of motorcycle riders ‘Daredevils’
For the first time women have been inducted in the Camel Contingent of the Border Security Force. At the same time, a woman officer will also lead the team of motorcycle riders ‘Daredevils’ of the Corps of Signals. This will also be the first time.

Lt. Chetna Sharma said that the Akash missile system designed and built by Bharat Dynamics and DRDO is one of the most advanced weapon systems today.

3 Param Vir Chakra winners, 3 Ashok Chakra winners will be included in the parade
The Indian Army issued a statement saying that the chief guest of the parade would be the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the contingent of the Egyptian Army would also march past in the parade. This year the Army will be represented by Mounted Columns of 61 Cavalry, 9 Mechanized Columns, 6 Marching Contingents and a fly past by helicopters of Army Aviation. 3 Param Vir Chakra awardees and 3 Ashok Chakra awardees will also participate in the parade this year.

There will be 16 marching contingents from Armed Forces, Central Para Military Forces, Delhi Police, NCC, NSS, Pipes and Drums Band. 27 tableaux will be presented by various states, departments and armed forces. DRDO will display a tableau this year titled ‘Securing Nation with Effective Surveillance, Communication and Neutralizing Threats’.

There will be 16 marching contingents from Armed Forces, Central Para Military Forces, Delhi Police, NCC, NSS, Pipes and Drums Band.

Mounted Columns of 61 Cavalry, 9 Mechanized Columns, 6 Marching Contingents and fly past of helicopters of Army Aviation will represent the Army.
