Before this, the Rajput community demanded that the word Gurjar should be written on this statue in front of Emperor Mihir Bhoj. Rajput society is demanding to remove this Gurjar word and write Hindu.

After a tense atmosphere throughout the day, the police, using mild force, detained some of the protesters and chased some away from the square. Although the police chased him from the square towards the park, he went and sat at the DC’s residence. At the same time, in view of the possibility of spoiling the atmosphere on the occasion of the inauguration of the minister tomorrow, a heavy police force has been deployed at the Chowk.

The people of the Rajput community who had gathered on Wednesday morning got enraged by the evening. When the demand was not accepted, they started protesting on the road. Seeing this, hundreds of people of Rajput community started moving towards the statue at Dhand Chowk, the police barricaded the way. Which was broken by the protesters. Seeing the escalation of the dispute, a heavy police force was deployed on the spot. The entire area has been converted into a police cantonment.
