Amid rising cases of Corona, the Center has written a letter to 6 states. This letter has been sent to Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. The Center has asked these states to control Corona. For this it is advised to focus on testing, treating, tracking and vaccination.

700 cases came after 4 months

According to the Union Health Ministry, on Wednesday, more than 700 new cases of corona were reported across the country. This happened after 4 months. Earlier on November 12, 734 corona cases were found.

With this, the total number of active cases in the country has increased to 4,623.

5,346 corona patients found so far in March

So far in the month of March, more than 5,346 corona patients have been found. There were 2082 patients in the first week of March and 3,264 in the second week. During this, the positivity rate was 0.61%.

Many experts believe that corona testing has increased due to increase in flu cases in the country. Because of this, an increase is also being seen in the cases of corona.

The condition of all 6 states-

  • In Maharashtra, 197 patients were reported in the last week of February. And in the first week of March, 355 patients were found and in the second week, 668 patients were found. During this, the positivity rate was 2.64%.
  • In the last week of February, 13 patients had appeared in Gujarat. And in the first week of March, 105 patients were found and in the second week, 279 patients were found. During this, the positivity rate was 1.11%.
  • In Tamil Nadu, 96 patients were reported in the last week of February. And in the first week of March, 170 patients were found and in the second week, 258 patients were found. During this, the positivity rate was 1.99%.
  • In the last week of February, 326 patients were reported in Kerala. Whereas in the first week of March, 434 patients were found and in the second week, 579 patients were found. During this, the positivity rate was 2.64%.
  • In Telangana, 95 patients were reported in the last week of February. There, 132 patients were found in the first week of March and 267 in the second week. During this, the positivity rate was 0.31%.
  • In Karnataka, 363 patients were reported in the last week of February. And in the first week of March, 493 patients were found and in the second week, 604 patients were found. During this, the positivity rate was 2.77%.
