Mother and daughter burnt alive while removing encroachment in Kanpur Dehat. The administration had gone to remove illegal encroachment from government land. The people living in the house which was being demolished were protesting on the spot. Here the protesters also threatened to set themselves on fire. The family alleges that the officers along with the goons set our hut on fire.
As soon as the fire broke out, the SDM and the police were chased away by the villagers. Everyone saved their lives by running away. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the case was received, Kanpur Commissioner Raj Shekhar, DM Neha Jain, ADG Alok Kumar and other officers also reached the spot. In view of the tension in the village, police and PAC have been deployed.
A heavy police force is deployed on the spot. ADG Alok Kumar (for torch) is engaged in the investigation of the case.
Kanpur Commissioner Raj Shekhar said, “We are probing the allegations made by the victim. Whatever facts emerge in this case, action will be taken accordingly. Whoever is guilty will not be spared.” ADG Alok Kumar is investigating. Against whomever the family members will give Tahrir, a case will be registered against them after investigation.

Woman and daughter locked themselves in hut during protest- SP

While protesting, both of them locked themselves inside the hut. After a while a fire broke out inside the hut. In which the woman and her daughter have died. The cause of the fire is being ascertained. Some people and the name of Lekhpal are coming to the fore in the incident. Along with this, the video made during the removal of encroachment will also be seen. Strict action will be taken against whoever is guilty.

There was a complaint of encroachment against Krishna Gopal Dixit in Madauli village of Kanpur Dehat Maitha tehsil. On Monday, SDM Maitha Dnyaneshwar Prasad along with police and revenue personnel had reached the village to remove the encroachment.
It is alleged that along with breaking the tap and temple from JCB, the team dropped the thatch. Due to this the thatch caught fire and Pramila (44) and her daughter Neha (21) who were present there got burnt to death on the spot. While Krishna Gopal got seriously scorched.

In the case, the victim’s family says that along with SDM, Tehsildar, Ashok Dixit and Anil Dixit of the village, many more people came to our hut on Monday. Those people said, set the hut on fire. After which our hut was set on fire. We were inside then.
We managed to get out with great difficulty. A young man named Gaurav Dixit of the village does a job in Delhi. He is associated with Lekhpal and SO. He along with these people got our hut demolished by paying money. These people also broke our temple. My daughter and wife have been killed.
The whole hut got burnt due to the fire. Mother and daughter were also burnt inside the hut.
Officers saved their lives by running
As soon as the information about the accident was received, hundreds of people of the village gathered and made the police and administrative officers run away. The officers escaped from the village after saving their lives. As soon as the information about the matter was received, SP Kanpur Dehat BBGTS Murthy and other officers reached the spot.
ADG Kanpur Zone Alok Singh told that the mother-daughter burnt to death while removing the encroachment. As soon as he got the information about the matter, he himself left for the spot to inspect the spot.
This was a land dispute
Gedanlal, a resident of Madauli village, had complained against Krishna Gopal Dixit, Ansh Dixit, Shivam etc. of the village itself for building houses by occupying the land of the population. On this, on January 13, 2023, on the instructions of SDM Matha, Revenue Inspector Nand Kishore, Lekhpal Ashok Singh Chauhan had demolished the house with JCB.
The victim Krishna Gopal and his son Shivam, along with their family members took goats etc. from the loader and staged a sit-in at the Mati headquarters demanding accommodation, but SDM Maitha and ADM administration Keshav Gupta called them mafia.

After this, on January 14, Tehsildar Akbarpur Ranvijay Singh filed a case against Krishna Gopal, Pramila, Shivam, Ansh, Neha Shalini and VHP leaders Aditya Shukla and Gaurav Shukla. At present, those people were living there with thatched roofs. To remove him, the team of administrative officers had reached with the police force.
