Bharat Jodo Yatra is going on in Kashmir. On Sunday, the yatra will begin at 10 am from Pantha Chowk in Srinagar. There will be break at Sonwar Chowk at 11.30 am. The flag will be hoisted at Lal Chowk in Srinagar at 12 noon. After this, there will be a halt at Cheshma Shahi Road in Srinagar itself.

Kharge writes to Shah over lapse in Rahul’s security
A day earlier on Friday, many people entered the security cordon of Rahul Gandhi in Jammu and Kashmir. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah on January 27 regarding this lapse in Rahul’s security. Kharge appealed to the Home Minister to personally intervene in the matter. Also demanded to ensure the safety of the people involved in the yatra.
What did the Congress President write in the letter?
Kharge wrote in the letter, ‘I am writing this letter to you regarding the lapse in security during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. You will also know about this. The yatra was suspended on Friday following the advice of security officials. The Jammu and Kashmir Police has assured him of security till the end of the yatra. I welcome his statement.
Many people participate in this journey every day. That’s why we can’t say how many people will be involved in the yatra throughout the day. A large number of people are expected to participate in the yatra over the next two days. At the same time, the yatra will end in Srinagar on January 30, where leaders of many parties will also be present. In such a situation, if you personally look into this matter and advise the authorities, I will always be grateful to you.
Kharge wrote this letter to Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday evening.
The yatra will have a tea break on Saturday near Birla International School, Pampore. There will be rest on Saturday night at the truck yard of Pantha Chowk on the outskirts of Srinagar. On January 29, the yatra from Pantha Chowk will reach Nehru Park on Boulevard Road.
People had entered Rahul’s security cordon yesterday
On Friday, a major lapse in the security of Rahul Gandhi came to the fore just one kilometer after his entry in Qazigund, Jammu and Kashmir. Here many people entered Rahul’s security cordon. KC Venugopal had said – there is no security officer since 15 minutes
Congress leader KC Venugopal had expressed displeasure over the lapse in Rahul Gandhi’s security. He targeted the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha. Venugopal blamed police officers and CRPF personnel for the breach in security. He had said that there was no security official accompanying the Yatra for the last 15 minutes, which is a serious lapse. Rahul and other workers cannot proceed in the yatra without security.
