Air India has been at the receiving end of complaints about the food being served on its flights. Two passengers complained about the food served on two flights operating on two routes on the same day.

One of the passengers found a worm in the food of the business class, while the other passenger, famous chef Sanjeev Kapoor, posted a photo of the food and asked, should we Indians eat this food for breakfast?

Both the tweets are going viral and in the comments other passengers are also sharing their experiences about the bad or unhygienic food.

Passenger of business class said – Hygiene is not visible
The first incident took place in flight number AI671 from Mumbai to Chennai. Passenger Mahavir Jain posted a video of the meal at 10.18 pm in which a worm was seen moving in the plate. Mahavir Jain wrote his flight and seat number and told that it seems that hygiene has not been taken care of.

Air India replied to his tweet saying- ‘Dear Mr. Jain, We apologize for your bad experience in the flight. We take care of hygiene at every step of the process of serving food. We will share this matter with our catering team so that action can be taken after reviewing the mistake immediately.
