The incident is of Kakkar, a border village of Amritsar. 22 battalion personnel were on patrol near BOP Kakkar. Late at night he suddenly heard the sound of a drone. After which the jawans started firing towards the sound. The soldiers also chased the drone. After some time the sound of the drone stopped coming.

Drone did not return to Pakistan
BSF jawans said that the drone on which the firing was done, did not return to the Pakistani border. After which the search operation was started at Amritsar border from the night itself. In the morning, BSF jawans have recovered the drone from the field of village Kakkar during the search.

Heroin consignment was also found
According to the information received from BSF, it is a big matrix drone. With which a yellow colored packet was also tied. At present the packet has not been opened. The packet will be opened after security check. It is estimated that the packet may contain around 5 kg of heroin.
