Tejbir Singh was caught along with Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal, leaders Sukhbir Badal and Virsa Singh Valtoha.
Akali leader and Amritsar District President of Students Organization of India (SOI) has been arrested by Counter Intelligence in Punjab’s Amritsar. Police has also seized 110 grams of heroin from the accused. The police will soon get remand by presenting the accused in the court.
Incharge of Counter Intelligence Amritsar Amandeep Singh informed that on his behalf Tejbir Singh has been arrested in the case registered on July 21. In this case, 100 grams of heroin, a car and drug money of Rs 3 lakh have been seized earlier.
Gurjit Singh, who lives in the Housing Board Colony, was arrested in the case. According to the information received, Tejbir Singh has been arrested only after interrogation with Gurjit Singh.
