In this one month, Aman Singh Khara, legal advisor of Waris Punjab De Sanstha, filed a habeas corpus petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, in which the allegation was made. Mobile services suspended in Punjab, 122 tweet accounts suspended
Mobile Internet services were suspended in Punjab during Operation Amritpal. Text messaging services were shut down until the afternoon of 21 March. Due to which 2.7 crore people were affected. Restrictions were extended till March 23 in some districts. The Government of India also got 122 Twitter accounts linked to Amritpal Singh or Waris Punjab De closed in India. Although many of them had no connection with Amritpal or Waris Punjab De.
ISI links surfaced
Indian intelligence agencies allege that Amritpal Singh has links with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Khalistan terrorist groups. ISI has trained them to carry out separatist agenda in Georgia.
Suspicious deposits of about Rs 40 crore, mostly from foreign sources, were detected in the accounts of several members of Waris Punjab De. Reports from agencies claimed that Dilawar is building his own army and ‘human bomb squads’ consisting of brainwashed youths as suicide bombers considering Singh as a mentor.

NRI Sikhs protested against the action of the authorities against Amritpal. Peaceful protests also took place in Auckland, New Zealand and other areas around the world without incident.
British Sikh Labor MP Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi criticized the government’s actions. Canadian Sikh MPs also expressed concern over the situation. Even after 30 days have passed, Amritpal Singh is absconding from the police. The police have no clue as to where they are. Sometimes in Rajasthan and sometimes in Uttarakhand, the Punjab Police is conducting search operations. There is no trace of Amritpal Singh since the video went viral on March 30-31.
