A video of chain snatching incident has surfaced in Pune, Maharashtra. Where a scooty rider tried to pull a gold chain from the neck of an elderly woman. But he could not snatch the chain because of the bravery of the old lady and her granddaughter.
The incident is of Model Colony of Shivajinagar, Pune. However, in a jolt, the woman fell on the road, due to which she suffered minor injuries.
The woman was going home with her granddaughters, then the incident happened
Around 8 pm on Wednesday night, 60-year-old Lata Ghag was going back home to her two granddaughters. During this, a scooty rider comes to them, he was wearing a helmet to hide his face. He starts asking Lata for the address. As soon as the woman gets close to the young man, he tries to pounce and snatch the gold chain from her neck.
Seeing grandmother in trouble, granddaughter attacks the chain puller. However, the accused manages to escape. The police is investigating the matter
