While Poonam poked fun at her fake death stunt, she also asked if the those in the crowd has taken the cervical cancer vaccination.
The vibrant season of Holi is here and Bollywood stars are adding splashes of colour to Instagram, filling the platform with photos and videos from their celebrations. Decked up in whites and drenched in colourful powders, they are not just reveling in the festivities with friends and industry colleagues but also sharing these moments with their fans, spreading happiness and cheer across social media. Many are also partying at huge complexes that have put together a Holi party. Among them is internet sensation and reality TV show actress Poonam Pandey.
Poonam was spotted enjoying Holi festivities at an event. Taking to stage, she said, “Happy holi to all. Zinda hone ka maza hee kuch aur hai. Bahut maza aa raha hai zinda hokar phir se. Aur Holi khelke tum logo ke saath.” She also asked if the those in the crowd has taken the cervical cancer vaccination. Poonam looked pretty in a white bodycon dress with a long shrug thrown on. She shared the videos from the event on her Instagram Stories.
A day after faking her death in February, Lock Upp fame came out in a video statement and clarified that she is not dead after all. In the video, Poonam argued that the motive of her death news was to create awareness regarding cervical cancer.
“I am alive. I did not die because of cervical cancer. Unfortunately, I cannot say that about those hundreds and thousands of women who have lost their lives because of cervical cancer. It is not because they couldn’t do anything about it but because they had no idea what to do about it. I am here to tell you that, unlike other cancers, cervical cancer is preventable. All you have to do is, you have to get your tests done and you have to get HPV vaccine,” she said.
