Zomato announced Supporter Plus Membership. Membership will be invite-only and will be launched in limited numbers initially Zomato Pro the user.
As a part of the Pro Plus membership, the company will be offering unlimited free delivery without any additional surcharges or distance charges, along with all the regular Pro benefits like faster delivery, additional discounts on delivery and dine-in and more.
As already mentioned, zomato pro plus Invited only. For select users, this feature will start from 6 pm today. People can check whether they have been invited after the given time by opening the Zomato app.
Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal took over Twitter To announce and in the tweet he mentioned that this is one of the most asked features from the users.
The tweet read, “As of today we have 1.8 million Zomato Pro members. And one of the most requested features from our customers is “Unlimited Free Delivery” (something like heroine Chieftain). So… in a few hours, we are launching our Limited Edition *Pro Plus* membership for select customers…”.
Goyal also compared Zomato Pro Plus with Amazon Prime membership which basically provides free and fast delivery benefits to Amazon users.
No information has been given about the cost of membership of Zomato Pro Plus yet. Zomato Pro subscription costs Rs 200 for 90 days. We can assume that the Pro Plus will cost a bit more than the regular Pro subscription plans.
How to check if you have been invited to subscribe to Zomato Pro Plus
To check this, open your Zomato app and tap on the Pro option at the bottom of the screen. Here you will be able to see the invitation after 6 pm today.
