Urfi Javed and Zeenat met recently during an event in Delhi.
Urfi Javed had earlier featured in a music video Hi Hi Yeh Majboori, which was originally picturized on Zeenat Aman’s 1974 film Roti Kapda Aur Makaan.
Urfi Javed and Zeenat Aman recently met in Delhi and got all netizens talking. The two were seen chatting and spending a few moments at fashion designer Amit Agarwal’s store. A video of the same has now gone viral with mixed reactions from netizens.
In the video, Urfi is seen slaying a torn floral outfit in black, gray and white. On the other hand, Zeenat was looking beautiful in a black shimmery gown. While Urfi appeared to explain something to the veteran actress, she listened patiently. Netizens are now wondering what they must have talked about. One of them wrote, ‘Zeet ji is saying,’ I didn’t sign up for this.’ “Gen Z is trying to explain itself.” Another read, “The Devil Wears a Prada in 144p.” One of them even referred to them as “Miranda Priestley and Andrea Sachs”.
However, another user explained, “Zeenat Aman also had the same reputation as Urfi in her time…..she also faced a lot of criticism and domestic violence. She understands and has had her fair share of experiences in the industry at a time when being an actress was frowned upon in Indian society. (just an opinion).
Urfi had earlier acknowledged Zeenat Aman’s work and shared that she is a huge fan of the actress. In fact, last year the actress was seen in a music video Hi Hi Yeh Majboori, which was originally shot on veteran actress Zeenat Aman in the 1974 film Roti Kapda Aur Makaan. He had earlier shared that his team wanted Zeenat to be present for the song launch but unfortunately, she could not do so. However, later the actress bumped into him at the airport, where they talked about the same.
Sharing the same, the Bigg Boss OTT fame said, “I had to go to Goa for another shoot the very next day and somehow, surprisingly, I saw Zeenat ji at the airport. Veterans like her and talk to her . But then somehow, I managed to go up to her and talk about our song Hi Hi Yeh Majboori. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to show her the video as she had to rush for her flight. But soon after the song was released Meeting him the very next day was a special moment for me.”
on the work front, Urfi Javed Has been seen in many TV shows including Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasauti Zindagi Ki. She became famous after participating in Bigg Boss OTT. Recently, Urfi Javed appeared in the 14th season of the reality TV show Splitsvilla as the Mischief Maker. She was also approached for the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. However, he has rejected the show.
