Zee Sammelan: We will bring 5G to India by the end of 2022, says Ashwini Vaishnav

New Delhi: Union Railway Minister and Information and Technology Minister on Saturday addressed a question that everyone in the country is asking about 5G internet services and said that the much-awaited 5G network will be introduced in the country by the end of this year 2022. Zee Sammelan, a mega event organized by Zee Media, where top politicians speak and discuss current burning issues and offer solutions, Vaishnav said that the 5G internet network will reach many cities in India by the end of 2022.

Vaishnav also said that it is very important for the communication media to be equipped with smart and advanced technological tools for security. He also said that the Center will work on the issues of mobile connectivity in remote areas, especially tribal areas, and the communication system will be strengthened.

Addressing the ongoing Agipath recruitment scheme, which has led to nationwide outrage and several trains were torched as protests turned violent, Railway Minister Vaishnav said those involved in arson and those who set fire to public property including trains. Strict action will be taken against Buses.

“Anyone involved in violence and arson will not be spared, strict action will be taken against those who vandalize public property and burn trains,” Vaishnav said during the Zee conference.

He advised the youth and defense aspirants to concentrate on their studies instead of getting involved in violence and arson.

Apart from this, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari also addressed the issues related to traffic rules and transport. He said that the government will soon bring laws and rules regarding the speed limit.

Gadkari further said that road engineering is being reformed to eliminate the cases of road accidents.

“The government is working fast to prevent road accidents so that the number of road accidents can be brought under control every year. For this, every black spot present in the country is being marked and converted into a safe zone as soon as possible.
