Yumi’s Cells 2 premiered last week and our love cells couldn’t help flying! The new season marked the return of Kim Go-un as Kim Yumi, while GoT 7’s Jinyeong is playing his love interest. The first two episodes not only lived up to the expectations but also left our desi hearts stunned while pointing towards India.

So, in the first two episodes, Yu Ba Bi (Jinyeong) confesses his love for Yumi, but she rejects him because she doesn’t feel that way for him. However, when she notices the little things she does for herself, feelings of regret begin to build up – asking if she’s eaten, making sure she’s okay – and when she sees other potentially interested women. He gets jealous when he talks to her.
In the second episode, Yumi decides to just ‘run into it’ at the park. Fully aware that he comes downstairs to exercise at the park, Yumi dresses up a bit for his run. However, she gets disappointed as he does not turn up at the venue. Heartbroken, she makes her way to the grocery store and decides to stock up for the week.
She runs into a portion of the curry when she bumps into Baa Bi. Yumi is standing in the corridor with a packet of curry in her hand and Baa Bi asks about the curry packet in her hand. Yumi reveals that she is picking up a packet of Indian vegetable curry.
“Is that curry good? I’ve never tried it before,” Ba Bi informs him. “Yes, if you like traditional Indian food,” she replies. Ba Bi wonders if he should try too. “Is the traditional Indian cuisine different? Is it hard to make?” he asks. “It’s the same (as Korean curry),” she explains. “What about the other ingredients? Can I put that in there?” he asks. “If you have fresh cream that would be good,” she tells him.
How do we want Jinyeong and Kim Go-eun to come India And try Indian curry here one day!
