MANGALURU: A youth was attacked with deadly weapons at Surathkal close to Mangaluru on Thursday. Mahammed Fazil, 23, a resident of Mangalapete in Katipalla, was attacked at a footwear store round 7.30pm. The miscreants had coated their faces. Police have deployed forces within the space and are scanning CCTV footage from close by retailers. Fazil was within the store when he was attacked. He tried to flee however the miscreants chased and attacked him.
