It was a day’s activity. The entire section is about 2 km, but some parts have been paved. The road was rough at some places due to the monsoon, making vehicular movement difficult. Shramdaan will continue next week also.
Mandekolu Panchayat Development Officer Ramesh P said that such activities have been done in many places. “The panchayat provides the necessary materials including stones and tools. Food is also arranged for the volunteers by the Panchayat. This activity also helps in building a healthy bond,” he said.
