Gorakhpur: State Social Welfare, Scheduled Castes and Tribes Welfare Minister Ramapati Shastri said on Sunday that Gorakhpur It is going on the path of continuous development and has been a very important district in Uttar Pradesh due to its historical, cultural and political importance. He said that in the last four and a half years, the operation of the fertilizer plant, which was closed for more than two and a half decades, started and in the same period AIIMS was also established in Gorakhpur.
“Sugar mill has become operational in Pipraich and this will create more employment opportunities and check migration. Yogi Adityanath government has benefited everyone including the poor, women, youth, farmers without any discrimination. CM Yogi Adityanath is making the dream of Ram Rajya a reality,” Shastri said while addressing media persons in Gorakhpur.
“The government has worked for everyone and changed the image of the district. Once known as the city of crime and mafia, this city is now known for its development. Today Gorakhpur is connected to the country by road, rail and air which is essential for development. In the last 4.5 years, several projects were started for the development of Gorakhpur and many of them have already been completed, while others are on the verge of completion and by December, 300 projects are expected to be completed,” he said.
Yogi government worked on the development of tourist places and today places like Gorakhnath Temple, Geeta Press, Ramgarhtal, Surajkund Dham, Shaheed Ashfaqullah Khan Zoo are attracting tourists and in the coming days the city will become a tourist hub.
