Varanasi: A day after the Prime Minister was hacked Narendra ModiSecurity in Punjab, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered special worship on Kashi Vishwanath And Kaal Bhairo Temple here on Thursday for the long life of the PM. He also termed the security lapse as a “conspiracy against the country”.

After performing more than eight minutes long special rituals at KVT on Thursday evening, Yogi said, “With the wish that the country continues to receive PM’s guidance and inspiration, we performed special pujas at KVT and Kaal Bhairon temple. What happened in Punjab on Wednesday was completely against the constitution and democratic structure of the country. This act of security lapse is highly condemnable.”
Hitting out at the Congress-led Punjab government, Yogi said, “The irresponsible attitude towards the PM has exposed the Congress how it values constitutional institutions and citizens.”
“The Congress should apologize for not following the constitutional provisions,” he said.

After waiting for 20 minutes after the blockade, the PM’s convoy turned back and headed straight for Bathinda airport.
