Squid Games (Netflix)

This Korean show became a global hit and is still number one in almost 90 countries. The thriller showcases the dystopian symbol of capitalism. It is the perfect blend of an amazing plot, mind-blowing action and an amazing screenplay, which is tinged with gore.

Tandav (Amazon Prime Video)

Tandav was one of the biggest desi OTT releases in 2021 and had a star-studded cast. The pivotal roles of the show were perfectly portrayed by sophisticated actors like Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Sunil Grover. Also, the show, which revolves around the political fair running in the country, was the directorial debut for Ali Abbas Zafar.

Loki (Disney+Hotstar)

Master of Mischief Loki takes a different journey from the universe of the Avengers. As the show introduces several new arcs, the character is redefined and rediscovered. In addition, the show, Loki, although different from his Avengers counterparts, introduces a very important aspect of the universe, the Time Bureau, which serves as a key passage in the upcoming journey of the MCU.

Maharani (Sony LIV)

Set in Bihar, Maharani is a show based on politics in the country in the 90s, when Jharkhand was still a part of the state. Nayak, played by Huma Qureshi, is an illiterate housewife who becomes the Chief Minister of Bihar. The political drama managed to gather a considerable number of fans.

Lupine (Netflix)

Lupine is based on the classic fictional character, Arsne Lupine, master of disguise and world famous gentleman thief, born by French novelist Maurice LeBlanc. The show is steeped in mystery and action and is set in the classic era. Also, the best part about the show is that it has released one more season in the same year so that you don’t break the momentum while watching it.
