Yavatmal: A 24-year-old man died when he was building a helicopter that malfunctioned and a blade fell on his head. Yavatmal District, police said on Wednesday.
The incident is of Phulsavangi village of Mahagaon taluka late Tuesday night, when Sheikh Ismail Sheikh IbrahimAn official said the mechanic was testing his helicopter in his workshop.
He said the deceased was manufacturing the helicopter on his own for the last two years.
The official said that according to preliminary reports, Ibrahim was testing the machine when it malfunctioned and a blade fell on his head.
The victim was taken to the hospital in an injured condition and died during treatment, they said, adding that further details are awaited.
