Former Indian cricketer Yashpal Sharma passed away on July 13 after a major attack. He was 66 and is survived by his wife, two daughters and a soon-to-be family. Remembering him, his colleague and friend Arun Lal spoke to ABP and said that the whole community was shocked by this news. Arun Lal also thanked the late cricketer for helping him shape his career. Yashpal represented India in 37 Tests and 42 ODIs for India between 1978 and 1985. He was also a member of the 1983 World Cup winning team.
