Yami Gautam’s year is power-packed. While she has been garnering all the love for her performance in Bhoot Police, the actress recently wrapped up the shooting schedule for Lost. He is featured as a crime reporter in the investigative drama, shot in Kolkata. Amidst his hectic schedule for the film, the star took out time to offer prayers at the holy temples of the city. Yami, who will release back-to-back this year, visited Kolkata’s Dakshineswar Temple and Kali Bari Temple to seek the blessings of the goddess.

A source reveals, “Yami firmly believes in visiting ‘Shakti Peeth’ and temples, and always makes sure to worship them despite her busy calendar. The actress decided to visit both the temples early in the morning as she did Was ‘I don’t want to create any inconvenience to the local people and their team’s shooting schedule.”

Lost is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and with Yami in the lead role, the film will talk about media integrity.

Talking about her process before choosing a project, Yami said: “While reading a script, I always make sure to look at it as a reader as well. If it engages the audience inside me, then I should Know it will work on screen.”

She continued: “As an actor, I never miss the importance of judging a project on the basis of its writing because you are as good as your script.”
