New Delhi: After the success of her recently released film “A Thursday”, Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is very excited about her upcoming projects.
The star is currently in one of the best phases of her career. She is not only giving back-to-back hits but is proving her mettle time and again.
Meanwhile, the actress has interesting films in her kitty, including Anirudh Roy Chowdhury’s Lost, Amit Rai’s OMG 2, Dhoom Dham backed by Aditya Dhar, and another that will be announced soon.
Yami said that Lost will probably be her next release.
“It is an investigative drama with an emotional-thriller undertone. The world of Tony Da (Anirudh) you can imagine in a film like this, with a very realistic tone, a lot of man-drama, nothing pretentious – it is what it is today. I play a crime beat journalist in this, and in my own subtle way it touches upon the integrity of the media in today’s times. So you can take it literally or figuratively, something that is lost, someone who is lost. I am very excited for such a film. I am very proud of it,” revealed the actress.
Yami mentioned that she had a great time with her co-stars while shooting for Oh My God 2. As for Akshay, he shared, “He is also a very good producer, and someone who is very passionate about this film. When I was given the narration, I thought he really wanted to make it with the right team.” Of course whatever chance I got to work with Pankaj Tripathi ji too, such a wonderful actor. With the new writing, there is another point of view which is very relevant, talked about, yet not talked about. So this is it. It will be interesting to see,” concluded Yami.
